Perfect condo for family vacation

I was specifically looking for a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom condo for our beach trip with our adult children and their families. The search filters on VRBO provided the excellent choices. The descriptions of the units was very detailed and helpful in choosing the perfect condo for our family. - (May 2020)

Great condo! Would highly recommend!

Overall, this was a great condo to stay in. Spacious in every way and could easily accommodate 10-15 people. I love that each bedroom had it's own full bath.....plus 1 additional 1/2 bath in the hallway! The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances, dishes, gadgets, cookware, etc that we needed to cook several meals. The dining room table is huge and would easily seat 8-10 people (unfortunately, there were only 7 dining room chairs). The countertop bar is also huge and seats 8 people! The Phoenix West building itself was great! Very friendly people everywhere we went.....including maintenance staff, front desk staff, etc. I loved how big and spacious the hallways on each floor are. You almost can't call them hallways since they are large enough to have a party in! My only complaint would be that the furnace was very loud whenever it ran and then shut off. In the middle of the night, it kind of sounded like an airplane landing, which made it tough to stay asleep on the chilly nights. My one suggestion would be to change your outdoor grills from charcoal to gas! But overall, a great place to stay and enjoy Orange Beach! I would highly recommend this condo! - (Feb 2020)

Great Thanksgiving Stay

We loved our stay at Phoenix West. The kids loved the pools and water slide and the views were fantastic. Plenty of space to spread out with our 5 kids and really accessible for our mother who is in a walker. Can't wait to visit in the summertime so the adults can enjoy the pools too! - (Nov 2019)

Perfect layout for lots of people

Clean, roomy, great views! Family+ annual vacation. First time going the condo route; usually rent private homes. Not disappointed. The only downside was waiting on elevators on day one - which was expected. After that, smooth elevator sailing. The layout of this condo is perfect for lots of people. Very pretty unit. Could definitely use extra towels and bed linens though. It was a little stressful trying to wash all the towels and washcloths up daily just to have clean for the next day. Not enough dish towels either. - (Jul 2019)

Three families opinions

Great place! Large spacious area great for multiple families! The elevator situation and beach set up are down falls. Long waits crowded elevators make it hard to bring in all your packed luggage for the week. The beach was crowded in front of the condo, you have to buy chairs and umbrellas spots to have any decent beach space. Overall we had a great time and place. - (Jun 2019)

A wonderful vacation

We had a marvelous trip. The condo was beautiful. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need. If I had one suggestion, it would be to change the toilet paper that was in the master bathroom to a better quality. We absolutely would stay in this property again. - (Apr 2019)

Spring Break 2019

Beautiful condo with everything we needed. Fit three families comfortably. 6 adults and 7 kids. Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Loved the double showers in the master and "kids" room. Awesome balcony with great views being a corner unit. Booking, check in/out was a breeze. This is our 3rd time at this resort and it never dissapoints! - (Mar 2019)

Awesome facility with a great view

We shared the unit with three other couples and had a great time. Very spacious and everyone had their own bathroom. The pool and hot tubs were excellent. Beach was beautiful. Our view of the sunsets was great. Other than the dishwasher not working and some dated furniture, it was a good value. We would return again for sure. - (Feb 2019)
